Energywork
Energy healing is an umbrella term for many different modalities, such as Intuitives, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Chakra Balancing, and Polarity Therapy. Energywork involves working with universal life force energy to help clear, strengthen and balance one's energy field and energy pathways to facilitate, support and speed the healing processes. We are energy and we are surrounded by energy. Everything in the universe is energy at its most basic level. Within this sea of energy, each of us has our own unique energy field, our own unique energy pattern or vibration. Through energy we have the opportunity to explore the inner world, release blocked energies, bring clarity to unresolved issues, and enjoy a deep sense of well-being. Energywork can help to heal on all levels, spiritually, mentally and physically. If you remain curious and open your heart to the magical spiritual experience, anything is possible. This process can facilitate profound and lasting core-shifts to help you live your best life.
B.E.A.M.
B.E.A.M. stands for Bio Energetic Assessment Method and is a technique I use to balance the energy of the body and to quickly access and address areas of tension. Dr. Douglas Mosher, a chiropractor using the "directional non-force technique", developed B.E.A.M. in the process of helping his clients for over 30 years in the Bay Area. B.E.A.M. uses muscle testing to gather energy information from the body and uses bio-energetic methods to help alleviate stress and make significant changes in your life.
Swedish Massage
Massage therapy involves hands-on manipulation of the body's soft tissues to relieve pain, reduce stress, improve flexibility, and enhance overall well-being. Benefits include relaxation, reduced tension, pain relief, improved circulation, and enhanced immune system function.
Muscle Testing
Muscle testing has many forms but in its most basic intrinsic nature it is a way to get "yes" or "no" answers directly from the body. I use it as a biofeedback indicator to determine where energy is blocked and what to do to restore our bodies to optimum energy flow and balance. Through testing you can locate structural, biochemical and emotional dysfunction in the body and identify the proper method of correction. Body intelligence is real. We are more than just a physical body. It is an operating system, with trillions of smart cells that we can communicate with through energy.
Functional Methods
This is an Osteopathic approach involving many different Functional Methods. Functional Methods involve a gentle dialogue with the client’s tissue. It involves low force treatment methods designed to wake-up proprioception in the body. Limitations to movement and alignment are observed. It normalizes tissue span, tones locally, and relieves often complex strains running through the body, with the intent to improve mobility, alignment and comfort for the client. I love finding the patterns of each individual person and slowly unwinding them. Sometimes the unwinding is done off the body in the auric fields. If we look for the root of the cause of a client’s pain and not just focus on where the symptom is appearing, we can help produce long term change in the body structure.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. The goal of myofascial therapy is to stretch and loosen the fascia so that it and other contiguous structures can move more freely, and the patient's motion is restored.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person, including body, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Theta Healing
Theta Healing is a powerful technique that combines science and spirituality to identify and instantly transform deeply held blocks, negative beliefs, emotions and trauma in the unconscious mind. It is a simple meditative technique that enables the practitioner to connect to the Creator of All by quickly lowering their brain waves to a Theta level. Then with the client's permission, a prayer is said to the Creator of All for a change in the client's condition and then the practitioner simply witnesses the changes occur.
Trigger Point
Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to hyper-irritable muscle tissue or its fascia, in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body it may be referring pain to. Trigger point therapy is said to interrupt the neural signals that cause both the trigger point and the pain. The object is to eliminate pain and to reeducate the muscles into pain-free habits. In this manner, the swelling and stiffness of neuromuscular pain is reduced, range of motion is increased, and flexibility and coordination are improved. The therapy can also relieve tension and improve circulation.
